TITLE: Metaphoric Anatomy of Co-Habitation
MEDIUM: RATTAN, ACRYLIC, LEATHER DYE, RECYCLED WOOD.
SIZE: 5 FT BY 45 INCHES
A cosmic dance of the lizard marked with the archetypes of universal creation, my art represents the intricacies of webbed inter-relational dynamism of co-habitation and co-existentialism . An extended allegory of creation rooted on each other for existence is antithetical to the concept of chaos. No creature or creation is destructive unless otherwise driven out of existence and literally abused.
A conglomeration of harmonious patterns and a representation of universal wisdom, the sun exemplifies source of life, culture, thoughts, dreams and the metaphysical honed into a perfect sense of adaptability and providence-albiet having to cope with changes in temperature and the environment. Whimsically set are humans likened unto waves seen adrift and busy toiling to meet their hierarchal needs. These are the basics of existence and the needs to be satisfied. Horses represent the spirit animal of drive, passion and appetite for freedom akin to humans. Existence of homes manifest each living creatures' need for comfort and protection from the hostile forces of nature. Men carrying the swine metaphorically represents bounty and fortune for the village. A butterfly graces the mural as a totem for the soul, spirit, and rebirth. Likened to human beings, the mural represents the warrior's ability to bend wills and surpass challenges.
The carabao, a notable creature in Philippine culture is deeply impressed as a symbol of hard work apparent in the mural as creature and man labor together.
A vignette of a man on a dragon embodies his conquest for greater things referred to as manifest existence, including various realms of higher level of consciousness and spirituality.
Infused with swirling patterns of creation, the mural presents humans hunting, harvesting, and co-habiting with nature and animals. No creature exists on its own. Familial bonds are strengthened despite differences in obligations between men and women. The seahorse represents a coupling of traits between men and the male sea horse which cares for its offspring.
The network of creatures living together in one environment is woven into the fabric of the cosmos. Woven in the fabric is a system of collective thoughts, various cultural practices, and ensembles of God's creation perfectly fit to meet each others' needs.

Title: FIRE STARTER
Medium: acrylic on canvas
Frame used: antique window frame from Mountain Province
Date finished: Nov 27, 2013
Poised and perched on a hand carved rock, the warrior gathers dry pine needles in a messy bun. With a trustworthy homemade, salvaged bow drill, he gently rooks it on a branch. With steady forceful hands, he begins the undaunting process of the ancient way of creating fire. A helpful notch with dustly friction abrades the spindle and the hearth. Viola!! the generated heat lights tinder and out comes fIire!

= Fear and Righteousness makes us acceptable to God.
A Battle within us and without is Happening everyday.
We are the subject of the Angel of Darkness
cloaked into many tempting and captivating forms
to destroy and to corrupt.
Because we are no longer part of this world,
we are disowned and dispised
Yet rejoice because its a sign of blessedness.
Title: Mistily Blind

= Good people walk their talk
while bad folks fabricate their walk
In praising God the rightheous are boastful
but the bad creatures they lust after evil
their eyes are dimmed and someone is in control
obscured by fallacies that leads them to the hole.
INSIDE THE FOREST i CAN FURTHER VIEW THE STARS
I START PLAYING MY FLUTE AND RUNNING GOES THE CLOUDS
THE NIGHT IS GETTING DIMMER BACKING THE CRICKET SOUNDS
MOON STARTED TO FILL IN FROM THE WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS
CHANGED MY PIECE TO FAST PACE AND WALKING GOES THE STARS
THE WIND JOINED THE PLAY AND THE FROGS START TO DANCE
WHILE BRANCHES ARE HAPPY TO BEAT THE MOON'S SMILE GLOWS
MY MUSIC STARTED TO FADE AND ITS TIME TO GO
ANOTHER HEALING NIGHT AND IN GOD'S WILL
I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN TOMORROW.......
